Hello friends, I am alive. 🙂
We’ve been away for a few weeks and I didn’t manage to post the State of SFF for August in time. Buuuuut, I have lots of reviews to catch up on, I went to WorldCon, I met Nnedi Okorafor and I saw Joe Abercrombie and Scott Lynch turn a panel into a comedy show. Mary Robinette Kowal did an amazing reading from two of her works, but I’m getting ahead of myself.
I will start posting again soon (I hope) and I’ll share pictures and memories from WorldCon, talk about the Hugo Awards – I so didn’t manage to post all my thoughts on the finalists before the awards were given but I’m quite happy with the winners – and tell you about all the cool books I’ve read since before my little holiday break.
